The Mind/Body Science of Chakra Yoga


	Event Description: This is a two-week yoga retreat with one-week options for people with more limited time availability. You will learn the ancient science of the Chakras, with an in-depth view and analysis of body functions, physiology and psychological characteristics of each of the body's seven energy centres. Working with specific Yoga asanas, and the rich symbolism of Hindu mythology, the original worldview out of which Yoga evolved, you will deepen your understanding of how mind, body and consciousness connect to the energy vortexes of the Chakras. The union of energy and awareness that is the result of the open unfolding of each Chakra centre is the goal of this unique Yoga retreat. Instructor David Goulet began his Yoga practice in 1969 with in-depth studies in India. He has taught the Science of Yoga through teacher training programs in Mexico, British Columbia and Thailand. He built the Pyramid Yoga Center in Thailand, where he teaches today.
